The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G was quietly relaunched in India by the company, more than a year after it first appeared in the country. Except for the processor, the new model has the same specifications as the original. It is now powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC. The phone has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. According to Samsung, it will be available in a new colour option. The latest ‘Fan Edition’ smartphone from the company comes with a 4,500mAh battery.

Unlike the Galaxy S21 FE 5G variant, which debuted in January 2022 with an Exynos 2100 SoC, the new handset is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset and 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM. It has a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X Display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a touch sampling rate of up to 240Hz. The new Galaxy S21 FE 5G has a 12-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera, just like the original model. It features a front-facing 32-megapixel camera for video calls and selfies.
