iQoo Neo 9 Pro with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC to Launch in India on February 22
iQoo Neo 9 Pro will be released in India in February. Through its social media accounts and a media invitation, iQoo confirmed the release of the new Neo series smartphone on Tuesday, January 16. Amazon will be the selling outlet for the new phone. It is known that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC powers the Indian version of the iQoo Neo 9 Pro. China saw the release of the iQoo Neo 9 Pro in December of last year. A MediaTek Dimensity chipset powers the iQoo Neo 9 Pro in China.
The iQoo Neo 9 Pro is set to arrive on February 22 according to the Vivo sub-brand. The date was revealed by the corporation via a media invitation via its official X (formerly Twitter) account. According to the company’s teaser, the phone would have a leather finish, a dual rear camera unit, and a dual-tone red and white design.
In the meantime, Amazon has teased the release of the iQoo Neo 9 Pro with a special webpage. The smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, according to the listing. The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset powers the model that made its debut in China.
In December of last year, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro was introduced in China. The 12GB RAM + 256GB model retailed for CNY 2,999, or approximately Rs. 35,000, at launch. In India, it is anticipated to cost less than Rs. 40,000.
In China, the iQoo Neo 9 Pro is shipped with Funtouch OS 14, an Android 14-based operating system. It has a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 144Hz. It features a maximum of 1TB of built-in UFS 4.0 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM. With optical image stabilisation (OIS), the phone’s dual rear camera arrangement is powered by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 primary sensor. It has a 5,160mAh battery that supports 120W wired rapid charging.
