Pictures of Xiaomi’s first electric car, the SU7 are out
Xiaomi has reportedly been developing an electric vehicle for more than two years. The company has declared its intention to enter the electric vehicle industry in March 2021. Reports of the car being developed have long piqued the interest of tech aficionados, who have long been making predictions about its emergence. Now that we have official images of the vehicle, some on Twitter are comparing it to a hybrid of a Porsche and a Tesla.
Xiaomi’s first electric vehicle, the SU7, just made its Chinese debut. There are two versions of the SU7 electric sedan available: one with Lidar and the other without. There are two powertrain options available to customers for this vehicle: all-wheel drive (AWD) and rear-wheel drive (RWD). The electric vehicle will be available for purchase in three different models: SU7, SU7 Pro, and SU7 Max.
A solitary 295 horsepower electric motor will be installed on the rear axle of the RWD variant. The AWD model, on the other hand, will produce 663 horsepower more than the standard model. The AWD powertrain system consists of a front axle electric motor with 295 horsepower and a rear axle electric motor with 368 horsepower.
